By accessing and using the Ignite ICT website, platform, curriculum materials, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services. These Terms apply to all users, including schools, educators, administrators, students, and visitors.
Ignite ICT provides K-12 computer science and ICT curriculum materials (Digiverse and Codiverse pathways), digital learning platform with gamified features and AI coaching, teacher support resources including guides, presentations, and video tutorials, professional development and certification programs, IgniteLabs hands-on learning resources, and assessment tools, rubrics, and progress tracking. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time.
Our Services are intended for use by educational institutions, teachers, and students under the supervision of schools. Students under 13 must have parental consent managed through their educational institution. You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. Schools and organizations must ensure authorized representatives create and manage institutional accounts.
You agree to use our Services only for lawful educational purposes. You must NOT: violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights; share account credentials or allow unauthorized access; reproduce, distribute, or modify curriculum materials without authorization; use the Services for commercial purposes without permission; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services; upload malicious code or harmful content; harass, abuse, or harm other users; or interfere with or disrupt the Services.
All content, features, and functionality of the Services are owned by Ignite ICT and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our Services for educational purposes within your institution. This license does not include the right to resell, redistribute, or sublicense the curriculum materials, or create derivative works without written permission.
Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Pricing and plan details are provided during the purchase process. Payment is due according to the agreed-upon billing cycle. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in your service agreement. You may cancel your subscription at the end of the current billing period by providing written notice.
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ignite ICT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use our Services.
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting student privacy in compliance with FERPA, COPPA, and GDPR where applicable. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, non-payment of fees, or actions that harm other users or the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated terms on our website. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or platform notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, and if unresolved, binding arbitration in Staten Island, NY, USA. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
